For any visitor, coming to Crownpoint Dine College can be a quiet tranquil experience not typically characteristic of a college or university. Instead, this is unique of a great Tribal college that has its values grounded in Navajo traditional beliefs. For any student, it is like home. For any new students or those considering going here, it is where you can academically succeed and find your place. I was a student here for sometime and my experience was great. I wish it upon all students to recieve the same unique, supportive experience I received no matter where you choose to go. If you are in the Crownpoint community, it wouldn't hurt to visit!

As a student you can expect a number of good things here. The staff and faculty really want to make sure their students graduate. Of course, this being an institute of higher learning this really depends on how much you are willing to care and commit yourself to succeeding. The encouragement and accommodations of this campus' staff and faculty can only go so far, but the actual work depends on you. It's size, although small, works for the student's benefit. A small branch campus with a small student body means for more attention, more personalized help, and an overall sense of commrodory. This is a great place for newly graduated high schoolers because they can be less distracted by the husile and bustle of a normal university. This is also a great place for more mature students who do not need the distracting University life. Now, the cost to attend is one of Dine College's best features. At only $55 per credit, you can expect to be a full time student with only a $800 tuition bill, not counting books or fees which are in themselves minimal as well. Going to a community college is a great stepping stone that allows you to knock out all your prerequisite classes quickly. You can receive one of Dine College's Associate degrees and move on to a bigger university or continue with under one of their Bachelor's programs.

This is a branch campus of Dine College, with the main campus at Tsaile, AZ, that houses some of the most committed, focused students, faculty and staff. It is located across the Bashas grocery store with a large sign and a well identifiable turnoff. From the turn off, you will find yourself driving up to a small one building campus. There are no other buildings as this one contains everything you could need in a college. It has a large open foyer arching over a number of ceiling-to-floor windows facing the east. This is a perfect seat for viewing the morning and evening skies. Inside, you will find a beautiful mural that is but one of many throughout the building. The north side of the building is the library that has recently been remodeled into a more sophisticated accommodating area for students and community members. The library contains one of the best collections of Native American literature and that's just the branch campus! It is even open to the public where you can check out books and use the computers. The middle of the building has an open counter where you can ask any questions that will be answered with precision and care. There is also a large setting area that is typically used by students to study or hang out. The south part of the building has two classrooms (one being an ITV classroom) and a computer/tutoring room. Most students can be found here.
